What the pain journal is and Why I’m doing this

It all started when…

I found myself at a crossroad. My mental and physical health was deteriorating to a point where I had no choice but to defer a masters degree in Creative Digital Media as well as having to withdraw from work due to illness. 

My life was thrown into complete disarray at the concept of accepting what this new normal looked like for me. 

In taking some time to adjust, I found others who shared their stories of their pain and struggles. In hearing these stories, and hearing the common threads and themes of the need to regularly keep track of aspects of their health. I decided to take this and endeavour to come up with a solution. 

By creating a system that lets you build your own journal. 

Pain Journaling for you. By You.

No Compromises. 


In order to make this a reality, I need to make sure that I get this right. 

I need your help.

These are the first versions of The Pain Journal. The physical edition is designed as a 14 day trial to see if it's something that you'd be able to use for longer periods of time. While the digital options offer a little more choice in term of the modules you may want to print off and use in whatever way suits you.

Ultimately, I want to create a system where you are selecting your own modules to either create your own custom pain journal, or download your journal as a full PDF.

I'd love to get everyone who's bought a copy of the trial to give me feedback as to what you thought and what I could improve upon. I'd also appreciate any recommendations for modules you think would be important to you!
